Igor Selivanov is an established contemporary realist painter. Born in 1966 in Dmitrov, near Moscow, he initially trained in artistic wood carving—an experience that instilled in him an extraordinary sense of form, patience, and precision. In 2009, he turned his passion to oil painting, rapidly mastering the rigorous multi-layered techniques of the Flemish and Dutch schools.

Recognizing his exceptional skill, Igor was inducted into the prestigious National Union of Artists in 2013. In 2025, he further solidified his status by joining the Professional Union of Artists, an organization aligned with international artistic standards. Recently, he has renewed his esteemed membership with the elite International Guild of Realism (IGOR) in the United States, where he has also been appointed as an International Juror to evaluate global contemporary fine art.

Currently focusing his mastery on still lifes and landscapes, Igor is internationally renowned for his meticulous detail, rich chiaroscuro, and profound storytelling through everyday objects and natural scenery. His award-winning original masterpieces bridge the gap between historic European academicism and a contemporary artistic vision. His works are held in prominent private collections across Russia, Europe, Asia, and the United States.
